What is Pad printing ?
Pad printing (also called tampo printing or tampon printing) is a printing process that transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the surface of an object. It’s commonly used to print logos, text, or designs on items that are irregularly shaped or have curved, textured, or uneven surfaces—things that traditional printing methods can’t handle easily.
Pad printing is ideal for a wide range of cosmetic packaging. For example, bottles, cream jars, lipsticks, and eyelash growth oil containers are all perfect for achieving precise and durable logo printing.
Will the logo be in color, and how many colors does the BSDropshipping pad printing machine support?
Yes, with pad printing, your logo can be printed in color — either single color or up to two colors maximum.
How much does it cost?
The handling fee is USD 50, which you pay only once. After that, adding your private label logo to the product will be free.
Why there is a handling fee ?
The handling fee is charged because we need to purchase the following materials and perform our initial testing, which takes about 2 hours.
Steel plate (cliché) — the metal plate used for engraving the logo.
Product fixture — the jig or holder used to secure the product during printing.
SC85 color-matching 241C sample ink — sample ink for color matching (Pantone 241C).
Disposable ink tray set — a one-time-use ink tray set.
How Long Does It Take to Finish One Pad Printing Logo?
It takes around 3 days to engrave your logo on the metal plate, purchase the paint, match the logo to your product, and carry out initial testing. Once the setup is complete, printing one logo takes only a few seconds.
