I’ve changed my custom domain on Shopify—will this affect my orders on BSDropshipping?

If you change your custom domain, for example (shoes12345678.com):
Changing your domain on Shopify will NOT affect your orders and sourcing and quotation on BSDropshipping.


🧠 Why it does NOT affect orders

BSDropshipping connects to your store via:

  • Shopify API

  • Store authorization (app connection)

👉 NOT via your custom domain

So even if you change from:

  • oldstore.myshopify.comnewdomain.com

Your:

  • Orders

  • Products

  • Sync

  • Fulfillment

All continue working normally As long as the app is installed → everything is fine. BSDropshipping will continue fulfilling orders normally


🔗 What about the “old domain linked to BSDropshipping”?

That’s also fine.

👉 BSDropshipping actually links to:

  • Your Shopify store account

  • Not the public domain

So:

  • Keeping the old domain = no problem

  • Changing primary domain = no problem


🧩 Final answer

👉 You do NOT need to reconnect BSDropshipping after changing your domain.
👉 Your orders will NOT be affected.
👉 Old domain being linked does NOT matter.
